  1. You have such a way with words Rachel! Very nice and sooo true! I try to remember to be grateful for what I have and that all my real needs are met by the Lord, just not necessarily in the ways I was envisioning. But man do I struggle with this sometimes! I will try to remember the new song and block out the old!

  2. Rachel – THANK YOU for writing this. I know it came from your heart. I felt it in every word! I want my life to be a sweet song to God! Thank you for the reminder! Love, Tabitha

  3. Brilliant and thought provoking as always. More than that – convicting. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Rachel,
I am so happy to have found your blog! YEAH!

You are an amazing writer and what a fantastci way to put it all out there for others to enjoy by means of your blog! God has truely gifted you in your writing and I can’t wait to see how He will use this new avenue for His glory and your benefit!

I love this post. Contentment is something I struggle a lot with. I can say, though, without a doubt that I am tested and learn on this…daily! My little home, beautiful family, non-luxary items are just fine with me as long as I have Jesus! Thank you for this reminder. It’s helpful to know I’m not alone with this issue!

    God Bless!
